The DBF50 offers enhanced versatility with two foot switchable channels (FET and Tube-style) for ultimate tonal control. Whether you’re performing live or recording in the studio, the DBF50 delivers modern performance with vintage charm.

DUAL CHANNELS

The DBF50 features 2 channels a clean FET channel and a fully loaded DRIVE channel with separate DRIVE & VOLUME allowing you to dial in the exact amount of tube style overdrive you are looking for.

MIX & PRESHAPE

The DBF50 features a MIX setting on the channel selection that allows you to get the benefits of the clear precise bass tone of the FET channel, and the warmth and articulation of the DRIVE channel, giving you the best of both worlds!

The DBF50 features a switchable preshape. Switching in the preshape applies an EQ curve set to scoop the mids, push the bottom and make the top end jump out. Great for playing slap or rock bass.

3 BAND EQ

The amp boasts a powerful 3-band EQ letting you dial in the exact bass tone you are after.

TILT

Tilt is a dynamic, powerful SEE-SAW EQ control. This control has a central neutral position. Turning the control clockwise increases the overall mid to high frequencies and decreases the lows thereby giving your sound more presence, which can be useful for cutting through live band situations. Turning the control anticlockwise reduces the overall mid to high frequencies and increases the lows making your overall sound rounder.

AUX IN & HEADPHONES

A 3.5mm jack for connecting an external sound source. Useful for jamming along with audio tracks. Plus, a 3.5mm jack for monitoring or silent practice.

MASTER VOLUME

The DBF50 features a MASTER VOLUME control that allows you to dial in the final volume level, after the preamp drive and volume controls have been set. Increasing the master volumes does not inherently change the tone of the amplifier.

DI-OUT

The DBF50 features a balanced XLR DI out for connecting to a PA or recording applications. The DI-OUT is sourced from the front stage of the amplifier. Before the FET/DRIVE channels and any EQ. If you are looking for a post FET/DRIVE and EQ output, then you can use the FX SEND/LINE out.

CONNECTIVITY

The DBF50 is equipped with an FX Loop. These sockets are used for connecting external effects device to your amplifier. Connect the send jack to the input of your external device and the return socket to the output. The DBF50 also features a footswitch socket for connecting a footswitch to enable/disable the drive channel remotely.

HH Professional Woofer

The DBF50 is equipped with a 10" HH AUDIO Blue professional woofer which delivers punchy bass tones with clarity. All Digbeth FOUNDRY combos feature a removable front fret which makes them great options as recording amps.

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. After 14 days of the date of your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:

  • Books, Cd's and magazines are non-returnable.
  • Downloadable software products
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase date.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so choose carefully.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act to provide a solution.

We only replace items if they are damaged or unfixable. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz and send your item to:

Shearers Music Works cannot accept cancellation for product that has to be imported specially at the customer’s request. A deposit may be required at the time of order, and these products can only be returned if the product is faulty or does not conform to the product specifications.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track and trace service so that you can track your returned item to us.
