The new Allen & Heath ZED10 multi purpose mixer for live sound & recording

The ZED-10 is the smallest mixer ever from Allen & Heath but as you’d expect its big on features. Part of the USB-equipped live performance, recording and production ZED range the new additions are simple, ultra compact mixers built to a professional standard, which will suit a wide range of applications including solo artists, bands, schools, houses of worship and conference facilities.

It emulates the valve/tube input circuitry commonly found on instrument combos or amps. In addition the ZED-10 can handle up to four microphones and two stereo sources: iPod, CD player etc.

Main stereo outs are on XLR and additional outs include a separate 2-track record, comprehensive monitoring with headphones and separate monitor speaker out. The USB handles both send and return for PC or Mac recording, playback and effects.

Equipped with a 3-band swept-mid EQ on mono inputs and a 2-band EQ on the stereo channels, the ZED-10 has a wealth of professional standard features including high gain low noise pre-amps, two aux sends (one pre and one post fade) for monitors and FX, and a separately switched stereo bus, which can be routed to from any channel creating a selective recording bus, monitoring bus or stereo clean feed output.

The ZED-10FX adds a set of premium quality effects derived from Allen & Heath’s pro touring digital consoles ranging from classic reverbs and cascaded delay plus reverbs to shimmering flanger and chorus effects.

Not only are the ZED mini mixers versatile for such a small console but they also offer Allen & Heath’s top rate professional quality in both construction and sound. The vertical board construction and internal universal PSU are unique in products at this price point, putting the ZED-10’s in a truly professional class of their own,’ commented designer, Mike Griffin.

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. After 14 days of the date of your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:

  • Books, Cd's and magazines are non-returnable.
  • Downloadable software products
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase date.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so choose carefully.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act to provide a solution.

We only replace items if they are damaged or unfixable. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz and send your item to:

Shearers Music Works cannot accept cancellation for product that has to be imported specially at the customer’s request. A deposit may be required at the time of order, and these products can only be returned if the product is faulty or does not conform to the product specifications.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track and trace service so that you can track your returned item to us.
